For a puncture, no. Come in and we will look at it. For tyres, a service, brakes or a pre-ITV check it is better to book, because it means we have the parts ready and a ramp free when you arrive.
A puncture repair is usually around twenty minutes. Fitting tyres we have in stock is roughly half an hour for a set. If your size has to be ordered we normally have it the next morning, and we will put your spare on so you are not stuck in the meantime.
The ITV is the Spanish roadworthiness test, the equivalent of the British MOT or the Dutch APK. A pre-ITV check is us going through the points that fail cars, so that anything wrong gets put right before you go to the station rather than after. It is worth it if the car is more than a few years old or has been standing.
It is moulded into the sidewall of the tyre and reads something like 205/55 R16 91V. Send us that and we can quote without seeing the car. It is also listed in the registration document.
Yes. A large part of what comes through the workshop is on foreign plates. Servicing and repair are no different. Note that a car on foreign plates cannot be put through the Spanish ITV, so if you are importing it, the paperwork comes first.

Yes, always, before any work starts. If we find something else once the car is up in the air, we stop and call you before touching it.
No. Monday to Thursday we are open 08:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:00. Send a message at the weekend and we will pick it up on Monday morning.
Battery first, it is the most common casualty. Then tyre pressures and tyre age, brakes that may have surface rust on the discs, and coolant and belts. A short check before your first long drive is cheaper than the alternative.
Yes. U3A Moraira-Teulada members get 5% off on presentation of a valid membership card, on tyres, oil and filter changes, full servicing, batteries and wipers, brake pads and discs, pre-ITV and the winter check.
